Aqil Afzal, a dedicated professional in town planning, graduated from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM). He first commenced his studies with a Matriculation Programme in Asasi Sains Hayat at Kolej Matrikulasi Selangor (KMS) in 2017 and later pursued in Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Urban and Regional Planning, which he completed in 2020. In his current position, Aqil Afzal leverages his technical expertise and extensive knowledge in town planning and social impact studies to perform Social Impact Assessments (SIA), concentrating on social impacts and mitigation measures. With four years of specialization in this area, he is well-equipped to make a meaningful impact. Additionally, Aqil Afzal is proficient in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and AutoCAD drafting and is actively involved with the Malaysian Association of Social Impact Assessment (MSIA) and the Malaysian Institute of Planners (MIP).
