Damira Aripin, a fervent urban planning professional, commenced her academic journey at International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM). She first achieved a Foundation in Architecture and Environmental Design at the Centre for Foundation Studies of IIUM, Petaling Jaya, in 2016, and subsequently obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Urban and Regional Planning in 2020. Presently, she is pursuing a Master of Science (Hons) in Urban and Regional Planning while advancing her career in the field. With three years of experience as a research assistant, specializing in research and policy-making, Damira Aripin has refined her expertise in these domains and is now dedicated to expanding her knowledge in Social Impact Assessment (SIA) and Socio-Economic Studies (SEIA). Her technical skills includes advanced proficiency in Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Map Info, and SPSS Statistics. Additionally, Damira Aripin is an active member of both the Malaysian Association of Social Impact Assessment (MSIA) and the Malaysian Institute of Planners (MIP).
