Dr. Azfizan Aziz, holds a Ph.D. in Transport Planning from the University of Malaya. He completed his M. Sc and B. Sc (Hons) in Town Planning at the University of Science Malaysia in year 1996 and Diploma in Urban Planning at the University of Technology Malaysia in year 1992. He has 30 years of consulting and research experience in the areas of urban planning, traffic planning and public transport at the federal, state and local government levels including private developers. As Director of iJF Planning PLT and iJF Traffic Consultant, he serves as a leading company which develops and charting the company’s superior, excellent and glorious.
He is also a Honorary Consultant for Traffic Impact Assessment Study (TIA) and Social Impact Assessment study (SIA) for USAINS Holdings Sdn Bhd (USM) formed in 1998, is the corporate arm of Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM). He is also a member of the Malaysian Institute of Planners (MIP), Malaysian Association of Social Impact Assessment (MSIA) and Transportation Science Society of Malaysia (TSSM).
Moreover, he is regularly invited as a speaker for SIA forums and workshops organised by private and government agencies. As a consultant, he has done a lot of SIA studies in Kuala Lumpur, Selangor, Penang, Perak, Kedah and Negeri Sembilan in Peninsular Malaysia, WP Labuan and Sabah. He is an experienced and capable in negotiations with council, state and federal agencies on regulatory and planning for Social Impact Assessment study matters.
